Meet the Staff at Golden Valley Tire

David Almich

Co-Owner
Dave is the original owner of Golden Valley Tire, having established the business in 1975. Dave has over 40 years experience in the automotive tire and service business, and has developed an immense customer following over the years. He is responsible for the overall business operations at Golden Valley Tire.

Ken Mlaskoch

Co-Owner
Ken is the newest member of the Golden Valley Tire management staff, having become co-owner of the company in 2004. Ken has over 36 years of experience in the automotive service business, and brings with him a wealth of unique experience in the auto service industry. Along with his duties as co-owner, Ken oversees the service operations at our facility.

Scott Kildahl

Sales & Service Advisor
Scott has been with Golden Valley Tire since 2002. He is ASE-certified as a master auto technician, service advisor, and service manager who is also an expert in the field of synthetic lubricants. With over 20 years of experience in the auto repair industry, Scott has a unique perspective on automotive customer service needs. He is certified as a product expert in the Michelin, BFGoodrich, and Uniroyal tire lines. Scott is also our resident computer specialist -- maintaining our web site and the in-store computer database server.

Shawn Boik

Sales & Service Advisor
Shawn has been a member of the sales and service advisory team since 2005. Prior to that, he was an ASE certified member of our technical staff - specializing in front-end, brake and suspension service. Shawn has nearly ten years of experience as an automotive technician and has spent his entire career with Golden Valley Tire. He is certified as a product expert in the Michelin, BF Goodrich and Uniroyal tire lines.

Paul Whitsitt

Sales & Service Advisor
Paul is the newest member of our front counter staff. He was previously a member of our technical staff - specializing in major engine repairs such as timing belts, head gaskets, manifolds, etc. He has over 30 years of experience in automotive service and repairs, and has been with Golden Valley Tire for over 25 years.

Paul Constant

ASE Automotive Technician
Paul is our diagnostic and electrical specialist. He also does the majority of our air conditioning service and repairs (a field in which he is licensed and certified). Paul has been diagnosing engine performance and electrical problems (along with other services) for over 28 years, and has been with Golden Valley Tire for the past 20 years.

Mike Mlaskoch

ASE Automotive Technician
Mike is our specialist in heavy repairs such as engine, transmission, and driveline replacements. He has become an all-purpose problem solver with experience and capabilities in all aspects of vehicle service and repairs. Mike has over 18 years of experience in the auto service industry, and has been with Golden Valley Tire for 8 years. If you are wondering about the name, he is Ken's (the co-owner's) son.

Eric Michalski

ASE Automotive Technician
Erik is the newest member of our technician team and is an ASE certified technician with over 16 years of experience in the automotive service and repair industry. He is one of our "do anything" technicians who does not have a specific specialty, but is capable and qualified in all areas of auto maintenance. He communicates well with customers and fellow employees, and is very efficient at finding problems areas quickly and detailing his findings on work orders. He has been with Golden Valley Tire for 4 years.

John Eliason

ASE Automotive Technician
John is the youngest member of our technician team. He is an all-purpose specialist, who can do almost anything. John is a graduate of North Hennepin Technical College with 9 years of experience in automotive service. He has been with Golden Valley Tire for 6 years.

Kathy Rouillard

Office Manager
Kathy handles our day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting duties along with other administrative functions (such as fleet billings, employee payroll, and data entry). With over 35 years of experience in the retail sales industry, she runs a "tight-ship" and keeps everything in order. Kathy will also on occasion answer incoming calls during busy periods up front.
