Your vehicle cooling system consists of the radiator, water pump, hoses, thermostat and heater core. All of these components are part of the system which circulates anti-freeze/engine coolant to maintain engine temperature and provide heat inside the vehicle passenger compartment.

Routine service typically involves replacement of the anti-freeze/coolant, which can wear out over time (similar to engine lubricants). Every vehicle manufacturer recommends service intervals for their specific coolant (there are numerous types). It is important to maintain this part of the cooling system in fully-functional condition so as to prevent engine overheating, which can cause serious problems on modern engines. This service usually involves simply flushing the cooling system to remove the old anti-freeze/coolant and replace it with fresh fluid to maintain proper operation. Other components of the system may require replacement due to age and normal wear at specific times, depending on how you drive.

Our ASE certified technicians can analyze and verify the proper operation of your cooling system and can repair leaks, heating problems and component failures quickly and efficiently along with any routing services required. Ask for details.
